An Odd Mod Pattern: Skylark

A strange pattern from a mid-20th century quilt in an online auction.

Should be in the 2-Patch section of the Encyclopedia
of Pieced Patterns. But n-o-o-!
Was it ever published?

It's an interesting repeat, easily drawn in EQ8.

36 blocks, every other block is rotated 180 degrees.

Very early sixties---Boomerangs here in a Formica countertop pattern
that they called Skylark

Pattern for Skylark.

Update:
It looks familiar. Is it a version of BlockBase 2346 Starry Path?

If you rotate the triangle and use 2?
No.

If you turn the triangle and repeat it four times this is what you get.
Cool but not in BlockBase

    1. See what you can do. What if you rotated the triangle eight times?

  2. This reminds me of the stary path block. Now I will have to dig out my templates and see if I can recreate skylark.
