Morris Wildflowers Free Pattern

I'm glad to say we have another William Morris reproduction collection
coming out at Moda.

Prints by the 19th-century English master designer William
Morris continue to be popular so we are gathering our favorites for
fabric that is scheduled to be in shops in September.

Strawberry Thieves and Willows, Anenomes and Honeysuckle.
Sage and indigo shades, reds and ivories.

You can buy a Layer Cake pack of 10" squares.
40 prints (a few repeats as there are 30 different prints)

So I thought about a bold wall-hanging to make the most
of those 10" squares. The 45" version uses your favorite dark
 20 prints plus some yardage:
1-1/2 yards of a light colored background & a long 1/4 yard of dark for stems.

The floral blocks finish to 15" so you are trimming the Layer Cake squares.

Finished measurements

Here's the pattern with template B for the flowers.
Print this on an 8-1/2 x 11" sheet of paper.

Or forget the template and use a fast piecing method for 2 squares.

Now I know it says September delivery but in this age of pandemics
and shipping delays we must be patient. I'm just giving you a heads up.
Lots of shops are taking pre-orders.
