In conjunction with an upcoming exhibit Printed Fashions: Textiles for Clothing and the Home, 1700-1820, a conference is scheduled for March 26 - 28.

DAR Museum. "An Agreeable Tyrant: Fashion after the Revolution" considers how Americans fashioned a new identity through costume.Fifty manikins in twelve period room explore clothing from 1780 to 1825No quilts advertised but what the heck.
