  1. Makes me think of the book 'Double Vision', where each quilter and the painter (Rod Buffington) took the same concept and did their own thing with it.

  2. Wonderful examples of quilts and painting. I have seen some patterns with quilts in the quilt, and love the idea of doing that. I don't have many old photos but most are just the person, but would be fun if I had some with quilts in them.

  4. Great quilts are works of art on a par with great painting or great collage work. I like the two ways your title perceives painting/quilt. There is a tradition also in the titling of the designs I'd like to get your take on some day. The names of the designs are so beautifully iconic, and coupled with the images, great poetry.
