Jubilee,
Pattern by Doug Leko of Antler Quilt Designs,
pieced primarily of my
Old Cambridge Pike collection of fabric for Moda.

Doug Leko has quite a few patterns

Juniper Berry
Frosted Roads
Jubilee is a clever combination of block and setting strips.
Doug used the range of darks and mediums in my line of
Civil-War era repros with lights from two other Moda collections.
At the top Miniatures 1157-26
And Basic Backgrounds from Primitive Gatherings
Side by Side Tan
The pattern gives you Doug's instructions for three quilt sizes:
Topper 51" x 51"
Throw 75" x 87"
King 111" x 123".

The magazine is called Piece and the latest is number 17 above. They are full of ideas. And this particular catalog is also full of cookie recipes.
Doug is a great designer and speaker and speaks well of his Mother!
ReplyDeleteAnother collection to swoon over!
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous fabric line and nice to meet Doug!
ReplyDeleteLove Juniper Berry! Jubilee is a little complicated for my current plans. It's the unusual thing, though, a quilt that would be suitable for a man, which can be hard to find.
ReplyDeleteThank you Barbara for the nice post, and for the wonderful fabric lines!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the name of the pattern that has the trees (label says Juniper Berry but that is the fabric not the pattern) ????
