Best of Morris Patchwork for a Bed Runner

Intersecting Squares by Margie Mitchell of Sky High Fibers

Margie is selling a PDF pattern on Etsy using my
Best of Morris fabrics.

The geometric patchwork design contrasts
with the naturalistic lines in the William Morris prints

See her Etsy listing by clicking here:

She uses a Layer Cake of 10" squares from Best of Morris,
plus an ivory monochrome print.
The pattern is for a bed runner, the perfect
room design for the hot months when you
don't want to sleep under a quilt.

Here's what Margie says:

"A striking bed runner historically inspired quilt with fabrics from the Best of Morris collection, giving a vintage look. Subdued colors and strip piecing construction give a subtle, yet effective diagonal geometric look. This quilt is easy to make and is written for sizes twin, queen, and king.

Sizes:
Twin, Queen, King

Finished Size:
Twin: 22 ½” x 64 ½”
Queen: 22 ½” X 92 ½”
King: 22 ½” x 106 ½”

Materials needed are the following:
1 Layer Cake or 3 1/2 yds. remnants
Ivory monochromatic print:
(intersecting squares blocks)
3/8- 5/8 yd.

3/8 - 1/2 yd. binding or use (5) leftover strips
batting
2 - 3 1/8 yds. backing"

The design would look good with a Layer Cake of The Morris Jewels too.

Of course, it depends on your bedroom decor.
