Center of Love Entwined from Esther Aliu's site.
Have you been keeping up with Esther Aliu's pattern for this 1790 Marriage Coverlet?
Happy Appliquer's center
Esther's inspiration was a poor black and white snapshot
in Averil Colby's 1956 book Patchwork
The pattern is an amazing feat.
See her introduction here:

And so are the quilts in progress....

Esther's Pinterest Page is a good place to keep track of what's going on:
Ineke Van Der Molen showing off her version in Supergoof's
living room
Narelle Birchall just sent a picture of her finished quilt.
Quite an accomplishment for both pattern designer and stitchers.
Congratulations!
That is a beautiful quilt and open to so many possibilities with different fabric choices.

That's not Supergoofs Love Entwined (she hasn't finished the centre yet, as far as I know), but somebody else's, showing it at a quiltshop.
ReplyDeleteThat"s not Supergoofs Love Entwined .The owner of that quilt is Ineke van der Molen from the Netherlands.

ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, the last photo is taken of the beautiful Love Entwined made by INEKE VAN DER MOLEN. I took this photo during a workshop in my living room.
ReplyDeleteOh thank you fact checkers around the world. I will give Ineke credit right now.
ReplyDeleteThank you Barbara!

Is this the quilt that Ester wanted to find the original, not believing that it was in hiding! When she did find it the owner did not want to show it etc. So she made her own?
ReplyDeleteI wish I had known about this. I am so disappointed I missed out on doing this gorgeous quilt 😢
ReplyDeleteYou can get the pattern from Ester Aliu from Australia. Just google her name, go to her shop
