Photography Secrets Revealed

If you like old photos and old quilts
you may have several of these vintage photos:
The baby on the quilt.


Here's a shot of Eula on a crazy quilt about 1900.

My sister found a proofsheet the other day
at a garage sale with the photo below.

At first we thought the mother was teasing the baby but then we realized it's how you get both an interesting background and a calm baby.

The proof sheet only had the side view. No front view.

But it probably looked somewhat like this.

    I will have to ask my sisters and see if they have any photos with my grandmother working.

  3. When my son was 1 month old, at the photography studio, I put a white blanket over my body to get a nice photograph of him as he rested against my blanket covered body.
