I still save photos, thinking of her. Here's a little show to remember Doreen.

These are such a hoot - especially that Eagle....what happened there I wonder.
ReplyDeleteRather humorous that artisans spent so much time on these "delicate" pieces. And thank you so much for mentioning Doreen. She was one of the first "speakers" I heard when my friends tried to get me interested in quilting, years ago. She still brings a smile to my face!

Doreen Speckmann was a very knowledgeable, entertaining and funny speaker. I was privileged to hear and see one of her presentations at the old Quilters Heritage quilt shows in Lancaster PA. She will not be forgotten.
