In 2013 I posted a free Civil War block-of-the-month pattern for Dixie Diary, which told the true story of Sarah Morgan of Baton Rouge in twelve simple blocks.

The history was based on Sarah's diary.

Repeated 8" inch blocks

Dustin Cecil made the blocks different sizes,

repeated some and devised his own set.

We're all on to the next project but I'll leave these posts up for a year or two.
