Q...It's the end of a grand era and I'm sad. QMN was the first quilting magazine I subscribed to in 1987 and then I collected as many back issues as I could find. Bonnie and the rest of the Leman family created a wonderful magazine and I still find treasures in my back issues. The teacher, who freely admitted she knew little more than the students, came to class one day with a great discovery - There was a quilting magazine! We all ordered a subscription, plus some back issues, and a whole new world opened for us. I have been quilting ever since, in no small way due to the pioneering efforts of Bonnie Leman. I hope her family knows how many of us are thinking of Bonnie today!
