Check out this quilt in the Quilt Index
http://www.quiltindex.org/basicdisplay.php?kid=1E-3D-8. I wonder how many more eagles on cheddar quilts are out there?
Love the first one, haven't seen that one before.
We are headed up to NH/Maine border for our anniversary, so I might hit the Rocky Mountain Quilts, while I am up there.

Barbara - The Flag and Eagle quilt is gorgeous ... one that really tempts me to head for Kansas this Summer! Alas this gal is Alabammy bound! Like your state, AL is a steam bath in the Summer. I am told, humid heat is great for growing cotton, but not to live with.
Thanks for all of your interesting and fun posts for us to read.

Aha! I live 10 miles north of I-7- in Ohio. So I could jsut get on the road and head west? That's pretty easy driving directions. I wish I could.
Thanks for the info! We are on the road, headed to the KC area and will return Westward via I-70. I hope I can see at lease one or two of these displays during our travels!
