Piecing the Past: Vintage Quilts Recreated by Kansas Troubles
should be in the quilt shops any day.
Here's a sneak peek at some of her reproduction quilts.
She's interpreted antique quilts in her Moda fabrics from the Kansas Troubles collections.
Stars Over the Plains
Her inspirations were quilts from the turn of the last century, which she's updated in her signature colors.

Love the Perkiomen variation quilt. I live close to that area and have had the pleasure of seeing some of these quilts in person at the Goschenhoppen Historians (Green Lane, PA)and the Mennonite Heritage Center (Harleysville, PA). Wow! Amazing quilts. http://www.goschenhoppen.org/

Love the older quilts and patterns the most.
I went to our local quilt show yesterday.
I put some photos of some of the quilts I liked, if you would like to see what the ladies in Rhode Island create.

I love all the reproduction quilts, both the patterns and the beautiful traditional colors. I have some of the Kansas Troubles patterns and really enjoy them.
